As our school year ends, we reflect on our wonderful memories and accomplishments. We have been blessed with the opportunity to learn and grow. I cannot believe how quickly summer has snuck up on us! We gathered as a school community on Thursday to honor each student’s accomplishments and passions at our Student Award Ceremony. They should all be proud of themselves for their hard work, perseverance, and growth this year! We ended our week with some friendly competition at our Field Day. It was a fantastic way to practice teamwork and enjoy the end of the school year with our friends!
Keep up the hard work, everyone. We have an exciting few days coming up!
Students did a great job pushing through their exams this week! We were very impressed with their concentration, stamina, and perseverance. Even though the academic portion of the school year is mostly finished, we want to remind everyone that the classroom expectations are still being implemented as we wrap up these next few days. We understand there is a lot of excitement and even some anxiety as the daily routine is about to change for the summer break. We encourage you all to talk to your students and remind them to use their strategies and communicate with their teachers if they are feeling dysregulated. Looking forward to celebrating our graduates on Monday!
In Independent Living, we worked on our final in-class project. The students had several options to pick from.
This week in Math, we worked in our math folders and worked on individualized programs in IXL.
In Writing class this week, we have been working on typing.com and our individualized work in our writing folders.
